Registered Black Angus cattle. Russian honey bees.
Low impact practices. Local agriculture.
River Taw Farms is a 3,000 acre oasis in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, making us one of the largest farms in the Carolinas. With a vision to build a viable scale farm committed to natural sustainable practices and humane care of all animals, River Taw Farms has developed a closed herd of Registered Black Angus cattle, producing a good thick appearance, sound feet and quiet dispositions. Additionally, RTF is home to a growing honey bee operation, producing local pure honey processed and bottled on-site. Nestled into the corner where Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln Counties meet, River Taw Farms is a true example of the beautiful gentle rolling hills of the Carolina Piedmont Region, focused on quality, local, sustainable agriculture.
